Corn Tortillas

this is what i was most looking forward to today: homemade corn tortillas. they were easier than the asian dumpling wrappers i made last weekend. i need more practice with these, but i really do think they were better than store-bought corn tortillas. you wrap these babies around some taco filling and they just might steal the scene! oh, and the second photo shows you the tacos i made with them: tacos de pollo en salsa verde (tacos of tomatillo chicken with wilted greens and fresh cheese). taco & tortilla recipes from Rick Bayless's Mexican Kitchen.
