CYA: Sierra & Henry Poke Around

sierra took the graduation gown and slipped it on. "i look ridiculous."

"we're in college. we're entitled to look ridiculous."

"good point," sierra conceded.

they walked down the corridor, checking each room. sierra checked all the cupboards and drawers as well. "i'm starving!"

"yeah, that's a side effect of timetravel," henry told her. "let's check the next floor."

in the second room of the next floor, sierra found four apples. "bingo!"

she threw one to henry and bit into one. "omg, this is the best apple i've ever tasted! is that because i'm so hungry?"

henry shook his head. "no, i don't think so. it's probably because they don't use pesticides and chemical fertilizers during this time." he chewed his apple with gusto. "you're right, these are terrific! sweet & juicy."

sierra was already well into her second apple. "i guess that means you're planning to eat that other one?"

henry snatched it before she could. "yes."

they nibbled down the core, licked their fingers clean, and continued down the hall. at the end, they saw a door with a sign indicating that it was the office of Dr. A. G. Bell.

"this is it!" sierra said excitedly.

henry opened the door.
