the house vibrated gently as it left golden gate park and, in very little time, settled gently on the ground again.

"let's go see!"

they ran back upstairs and walked out the front door to look on what appeared to be boston in 1876.

"it worked!" juliet thanked the unconventional conventionist. "thank you so much. can you wait here for us?"


the unconventional conventionist nodded. "of course. i doubt the others even know that we left and, even if they did, they wouldn't care. good luck!"

juliet & the darter made their way down the street.

"i got a text from marian," juliet told him. "she said we need to find dr. bell's office at boston university."

"good afternoon, ma'am," a man walking by them tipped his hat and smiled at juliet.

"well, hello there, handsome. can you tell me where boston university is?" juliet asked with a flash of teeth.

"why, certainly! go straight down this road and take your 3rd left. you'll be there in no time, miss."

"thanks, sweetie. ta!"

they continued down the lane, encountering several wolf calls along the way, and turned to the left. as they walked onto the campus, they entered the first building they encountered.

"left or right?" the darter asked as the walked in.
