CYA: Marian & Taylor Find Magic In The Air

there was a sudden eruption of POP! sounds as the garden gnomes disappeared. everyone turned to stare at marian, who was staring at the wand in her hand.

"i...i'm sorry, i...i..."

hermione hugged her. "you're a witch!"

"i am? really?" she looked at the wand again, then pointed it at taylor. "wingardium leviosa!"

taylor began to float upward. "um, that's enough, ducky. you can put me down now. honey!"

she pointed the wand at the tree in which tonks was stuck. "opening expandum!"

there was a creaking noise as the knot opened wider, allowing tonks to withdraw her hand. "hey, thanks kiddo!"

marian beamed. "i can't wait to show the others!"

hermione shook her head as she took her wand back. "i'm sorry, marian, but you can't do magic after this. they'll never know."

"why not?!"

"read the disclaimer at the bottom of this post," hermione explained sympathetically.

marian read the text below and stomped her foot. "hmph!"
