Classic Banana Bundt Cake (Pub Version)

i know, it's not a bread, but it's so damn good. i'm posting it 'cause my friend maddog posted the recipe on her blog at my request, but didn't have a picture of it. i had 4 bananas sitting around last night that i had to do something with, so i made it. i knew she didn't have a picture, so i'm posting it here (her pics are much better than mine). i realized after i had started that i was out of vanilla. there is no single substitute for vanilla--there are several things that you can use instead, but it really depends on the recipe. for this, i thought dark rum would work just fine (a thought that often occurs to me, i'll admit). and i was right :)

KIDDING. Please, no more hate mail about how there are pubs in the U.S. as well!
